Detailed feedback on my Safari Trip

I recently went on the 'Safari Trip in Tanzania' with WeRoad. The booking process was straightforward on their website, and I received confirmation emails promptly. Before the trip, there was a brief virtual meet-and-greet with the coordinator and some group members, which was a nice touch. Delivery of the pre-trip information packet was timely, outlining what to pack and what to expect. On the trip itself, the game drives were incredible, and our coordinator was excellent at spotting wildlife and managing the group dynamics. The local guides they partnered with were also very knowledgeable. Accommodations were comfortable, mostly tented camps, which added to the adventure. Food was decent, though sometimes repetitive. I had one small issue with a transfer being slightly delayed on the return leg, but the coordinator handled it efficiently. Overall, the experience felt authentic, and I appreciated the balance between guided activities and some free time.

Consistently good experiences

This was my third trip with WeRoad, a 'Winter Adventure in Lapland'. Like my previous trips, it was well-organized, and the coordinator was fantastic. They consistently deliver on their promise of group adventure. I know what to expect now, which is why I keep coming back. No surprises, just reliable, fun travel with new people. Booking was smooth as usual.

Good trip, communication could improve

I booked the 'Island Hopping in Croatia' trip. The itinerary was fun, and the group was great. Our coordinator was knowledgeable and kept things organized. My only minor issue was with the pre-trip communication; it felt a bit sparse compared to what I expected. Received the final details pretty close to departure, which made planning some things a bit rushed. Overall, a solid experience and good value for what I paid.

Solid value for a first timer

I just got back from the 'Jungle Treks in Costa Rica'. As a first-time buyer, I was looking for a good deal. I managed to snag an early bird discount, which made the price much more appealing. The trip itself was well-paced, and I felt I got a lot for my money. The accommodations were basic but clean, as expected for an adventure trip. I did compare prices with a few other companies, and with the discount, this felt like the best value for that specific itinerary.

Hey, thinking about a trip, do they ever do bigger discounts than the usual 50-200 euro off? Like for Black Friday or something?

N Nathan R. 1 week ago
Yeah, they definitely do! I snagged a Black Friday deal last year that was pretty sweet, way more than the usual. Keep an eye out around those big sale times.

They have seasonal sales and flash sales too sometimes. I signed up for their newsletter and that's usually how I hear about the better promos. The 50-200 is more like standard early bird stuff.

Are these trips actually good for solo travelers? I don't want to be the odd one out in a bunch of couples or friend groups.

Totally! Most people on my trip were solo. It's actually a huge part of their vibe, meeting new people. You won't feel out of place at all.

Yeah, I went solo last summer and it was great. Their whole thing is about making connections. They even have trips specifically geared towards solo travelers in different age ranges. You'll be fine.
